I have Guifications 2.16 installed and am having problems with email
notification from my gmail account.

When a new message arrives the Pidgin window blinks to inform me that a
message has arrived but Guifications never alerts me to the new message.

I have read that there is an issue when more than one mail arrives at the
same time but I never get any information from guifications despite having
the Email event ticket in the guifications options and mail notification for
my gmail account in Pidgin.

I would really like it if guifications could alert me to the new message. I
have switch debugging on in the pidgin application and can see the new mail
messages arriving from the gmail server.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

I really like Pidgin and it would be great if it could alert me to new
gmail.

Are you sure the theme(s) you have loaded support the notification?
