New description:

 Hi!

 I would greatly appreciate a function, that only new IM's are notified.

 So if a friend sends a IM, I get notified, but if there is a chat window
 already open and the friend is sending again, I don't need a notification
 about that anymore, because the chat window itself is already flashing in
 the task bar.

 as it is in maintenance-only mode.
