Comment:

 I haven't looked too closely at the code in question, but does the quit
 have to be changed to /rim _ quit?  If you left the
 PURPLE_COMMAND_ALLOW_WRONG_ARGS flag (or whatever it's called), you could
 just g_ascii_strcmp on the first arg to determine if it's quit, and if it
 isn't, then proceed normally.

 Sorry it's taken so long to get to this.
