 Update: the crash with guifications installed but not enabled only
 occurred when guifications was unticked that instance (i.e. the following
 causes the crash:

 load pidgin with guifications installed and enabled. disable guifications.
 quit pidgin.

 but the following doesn't:

 load pidgin with guifications installed and disabled. quit pidgin.)

 I really wish that damn RPT would call something from guifications because
 it most definitely doesn't happen without guifications :(. Bug 333 might
 also be of use as all the crashes happened only with guifications enabled.

 Also, the account has to be enabled and online. Accounts enabled and
 offline don't cause it.
