 You can get a backtrace on Windows. It's actually easier than on linux.
 Just download the debug version (from sourceforge) and reproduce the crash
 with it. That's on the FAQ. If you want to do it the hard way, get gdb for
 Windows from mingw.org and run Pidgin through gdb as you would on Linux.
