 Oh, just to clarify, I'm using an IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad T60. I use the
 trackpoint (aka nub), not touchpad or external mouse. Middle button (the
 one usually used for scrolling) closes notifications in Ubuntu but not in
 Windows XP. That's pretty much all I've got, but I'll be happy to answer
 any further questions.
