 Is there any way of making the album logger store the avatars as "username
 yy-mm-dd hh-mm-ss.ext"?

 There are three advantages that come to mind immediately of such a method:

 1) They can be browsed chronologically with back/forward in a given image
 viewer (e.g. eog)
 2) If time stamps were overwritten with a unscrupulous touch ...
 3) A hash as a name doesn't make sense when going over the whole folder
 with optpng's, or similar's, brute (great for small thumb drives)
