 This report is to make a suggestion that the already existing 'Character
 counting plugin' for Pidgin be added to the next PluginPack.  It's
 especially useful for Twitter-IM users, and another interesting plugin
 even for general usage.  I think it is at least as useful as some of the
 other plugins already in the pack, and it's only 4kb compressed.

 It is under the GPL license with downloads and information here, and the
 author has said in the blog comments that it is fine with him if the
 PluginPack maintainers want to include it in the pack:
