Comment:

 yeah, that's the thing. I don't think it's something you should have to.
 But since guifications installs themes in C:\Pidgin\... by default instead
 of %APPDATA%\.purple\..., it causes problems. I suggest to make sure this
 doesn't happen in the future, move your themes to
 .purple\guifications\themes\. I think there's a page in the FAQ that
 explains how this should be set up.
