 When two contacts are grouped into a metacontact, the Enhanced History
 plugin should merge their history when opening a new conversation window
 with either one, such that conversations held with either contact appear
 in the history of both.

 Just in case the term has multiple meanings, when I say metacontact, I
 mean a group of contacts that all represent the same person.

 I think Pidgin's standard history plugin supports this, so that code might
 be a starting point.
