 There should not have been any changes to the plugin since your last
 build, so you probably could just install the new Pidgin and drop the
 plugins in place.  Of course, building plugins in a Pidgin 2.3.1 build
 environment will be fine for running with Pidgin 2.4.0 due to the API/ABI
 versioning scheme Pidgin and libpurple have.  If you prefer to have it all
 the same, that's your prerogative, though :)

 At any rate, I figured you might not be able to respond to my question
 within 21 days, so I didn't bother to set the pending flag because of that
 ;)
