 Using Pidgin-2.4.1 and Purple Plugin Pack 2.3.0 on Debian 4.0r3 Linux,
 Xorg 7.1.1, libgtk-2.8.20, install and enable Infopane plugin.
 Infopane Options plugin crashes Pidgin when closing IRC window

 Use default position "top" and check "always show the pane".

 Open two IRC chats in the window as tabs in the single window.  (It does
 not happen if only one IRC chat is in the window).

 Close the IRC window.

 Pidgin will crash and attemp to dump core.

 Crashes at infopane.c line 50.
