Comment:

 Anything installed to the Pidgin installation directory will be removed
 during a Pidgin upgrade.  This is addressed in our FAQ for Guifications
 ([wiki:Guifications#WhydoesGuificationsdisappearonWinPidginupgrades this
 question, specifically]).  Modified themes are installed to your `.purple`
 directory, which is not affected by a Pidgin upgrade.
